It's 2:53 am and here I am editing my blog. Too much climbing earlier? (climbed from 2 - 8 pm!!) I feel so tired...
That's me - always insomnic, and sleepy in the morning (duh).
But the night is so nice. So cool and quiet. The stillness of things makes my mind clear and composed. It's times like these that God speaks.. or rather that I can hear His voice. No clouding from the pressing needs of the world, often trying to push me beyond the edge of sanity.
John 6:35 - Jesus said " I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty."
A reminder from God to me: I must always live for Christ alone, not for men, coz He is the only one that can make me satisfied physically and spiritually. Chasing the needs of the world and living the ways of the world leads to fustration. What's more we can't bring any material gains to heaven.
Truly, death - is the great equaliser. Both a poor man and a rich man becomes dust and soil in death. Whatever you have acquired on earth, stays on earth. Guess I need to ensure my treasures are in heaven.
Thank God too that Ruby monchitchit is in pink of health again!
